id="caption-attachment-108" class="wp-caption-text">personal space

When I first got home it wasn’t as apparent, I was around friends and family, people that I am normally physically closer to so nothing seemed strange and of course we missed each other so lots of hugging, standing/sitting very close to one another happened and was great. But when I got back to work I realized that I was indeed standing closer to coworkers and invading their personal space without realizing it.  I began to notice that often they would indeed step back from me. So I realized, da da da duuummm, that the very thing that I complained about for a couple of months became second nature to me. At some point my personal space/ comfort zone changed whilst in England. As I got to know and get emotionally closer to many of the people that I met, that I worked with and as I got more comfortable with my surroundings I allowed people to be physically closer to me which of course adjusted my personal space.  Now I have adjusted my personal space somewhat but I find that I am still inclined to take that one step closer than in the past.

I found a piece of interactive art that demonstrates what I have been writing about, personal space by an artist called Scott Snibbe. The piece is called Boundary functions, check it out.

And thank you all for taking the time to read this blog. I began it as a way to tell friends and family what was going on while I was in England. I never imagined that anyone outside of that group would read it which is really cool. So until next time.

Ta luvs

I have noticed from comments sent concerning various entries
