Spring is bouncing in

It’s springtime in jolly old England and it’s quite nice. The birds are singing, the sun is shining and travel season has begun. Millions of folks are beginning to invade other countries, from here they’re going to Spain, Italy and France. From the states I’m sure it’s Mexico, the Caribbean and various parts of those United States. I love it. Myself, I went to Chester on a lovely sunny but cool spring day.
Chester is in the north of England, about 30 minutes from Liverpool. It’s biggest attraction is the two mile Roman walls that surround the city. It takes about an hour and a half to walk the entire wall and it’s the only roman wall in all of europe that people can walk it’s full length according to the tour guide. You can see the remains of a roman amphitheatre there as well as take a cruise down the river Dee.  Chester is also the home of the second most photographed clock in England, Eastgate clock. The tudor and victorian buildings are beautiful. Needless to say I had a wonderful time.
Ta luvs.
